The Streamlight Vantage is super small, super bright, and virtually indestructible.
For every red Vantage® sold, TheFireStore and Streamlight will donate $3 to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (N.F.F.F.). By purchasing this product, you are helping to make a difference in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of fallen firefighters all over the country.
This helmet-mounted light is the solution to all your hands-free lighting needs. It is shock-proof and virtually indestructible; you won’t find a helmet light any tougher.
The Vantage’s remarkably compact, lightweight body and inner workings were originally designed to withstand the shock-after-shock recoil of an automatic weapon in combat conditions. The Vantage has been designed to clamp onto either side of any traditional or modern firefighter’s helmet or hard hat. It rotates 360 degrees and includes a 5-degree angle adjuster insert designed to optimize beam location.

Its waterproof, chemical-resistant anodized aircraft aluminum body, high-impact, engineering-polymer LED housing, and high-temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant Boro Float glass lens will stand up to intense heat, extreme weather, and all the physical punishment your fire scene, rescue operation, or work environment can deliver, guaranteed.
Its C4 LED is almost three times brighter than High-Flux LEDs. It’s a huge upgrade over second-generation LED technology. In fact, the Streamlight C4 premium LED is seven to 10 times brighter than the first generation LEDs still used in many flashlights today, and they consume far less energy. The result is a blinding light, far more powerful than any LED before it, with extended runtime that proves to be so critical in an unpredictable fire or rescue situation.
And because it’s impervious to shock, the primary LED will not break or burn out over its 50,000-hour lifetime. An ultra-bright blue safety taillight LED lets your partners see you when they're following, or searching – even in a smoke-filled room.
Long-lived lithium batteries can be changed in seconds. Like the Streamlight Tactical Weapon Lights it’s based on, the Vantage uses two small, lightweight, 3-volt CR123 lithium batteries to power both the main light and an ultra-bright blue taillight LED. You can carry a set of spares in any pocket.
The back of the Vantage can be opened, the batteries changed, and snapped back on again in under 30 seconds, without taking the light off the helmet. And because the lithium batteries have a storage life over 10 years and are not affected by extreme temperatures, they provide a convenient and extremely reliable source of power.

Ratings & Reviews
I have used this light during training and on calls. For a small light it is very bright. I don't even know it's there until I need it.
Overall I think this is an awesome product. its not bulky at all its very light and bright while others are able to pick up your location from behind you in dark or smoky areas. overall I am very happy with this product and I have had lots of compliments from others as well. you will not be disappointed with this light.
Works better than i could have imagined.
Great helmet light. I bought extras for the guys on my truck.
CHEAP! DO NOT BUY! WARRANTY NOT HONORED!
I had one of these and the lens shattered after a structure fire. It was mounted under my helmet, it did not have any unusual impacts. Upon writing streamlight for a replacement they said they would not replace it as there was a small scratch OUTSIDE of the lens bezel. Another company that will not honor their warranty.
Great Helmet Light
Bright light, solid mount up, light weight, and you can pivot the light on the mount to aim it. Might be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I liked the lower profile of my old Black Jack and Pelican light set up. But this is a brighter more versatile helmet light.
Great Small Light.. !!!
This light fit on my helmet great. Small but VERY bright.. Works great to provide light.
The only helmet light you need
I got a chance to use this in my First fire and it was great for doing my primary search! I got a lot of compliments on how bright it was! this was Money well spent! I love this thing, you will too
""I wouldn't change a thing""
One of the best lights I've ever used. The batteries are long lasting, it is small, lightweight, and when mounted it as if it's not even there.
Solid helmet light
Excellent helmet light from a well known manufacturer. The only ""Con"" of this light is the LED is so bright it reflects off windows and prevents you from seeing in as well as you might with an incandescent light source. Still great light, easy to attach, easy to operate.
perfect helmet mounted light
perfect light weight light to use for firefighting, or accident scenes at night
Very bright product
Great product already used on two structure fires with great results!!!
Very easy to use!!!!!!!!!!
Love how easy it is to turn on with gloves on!!!!!!!!
Excellent, compact, super bright
It is an excellent flashlight!
Love this light!!
This light is one of the most handy tools to have on the fireground, or MVC's. Unlike my Survivor, it is always there wherever you look. Very strong beam.
Great light, I have several
Bright light, well constructed. I dropped a helmet with the light attached, which cracked the bottom of the light. Streamlight repaired it under warranty, even after I told them that it was dropped.
This is by far the best helmet light.
The best firefighter helmet light that I could find. It's not bulky you don't even know its on your helmet till you turn it on. Fit perfect on my helmet, stays adjusted and is very bright. You get what you pay for and this is something that you want the best you can find.
THE LIGHT to light up your scene!
This light is amazing! Bright, efficient, and effective! It's low profile helps in tight quarters. It's adjustable feature without having to move my head is genius innovation. My only complaint is that it was a little difficult to install due to the lip of the cairns helmet that I have. This product is a must have in your arsenal and is well worth the price.
Very nice For Search and rescue!!!

this product is good for lighting up the area where your eyes look.it is very adjustable for you helmet and can look where you look
"Does this torch have to use Lithium batteries or can it use other batteries such as Alkaline batteries?"
Hi Mitzzy, The Vantage will only run on CR123 Lithium batteries.
"Does this light come with a warranty? What temperatures can it withstand in a fire? Thanks!"
All Streamlight products are backed by Streamlights Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects, the details of which can be found at: http://www.streamlight.com/en-us/support/default.html The Vantage helmet light is tested to the heat standard spelled out in NFPA 1971-8.6 (2007), 500 degrees F for 5 minutes. While that particular standard is not applicable to lighting tools, it is a useful barometer of a lighting tools durability.
"Any thoughts on putting rechargable batteries in this with and including a port to charge with a 12v charger on future models?"
I sent your question to Streamlight. They said they are considering a rechargable Vantage, but there is no timetable.
"my helmet has rubber edging all the way around, will this light mount to my helmet over the rubber and have a solid mount, some guys say they are wobbly"
Pete, not sure what the guy's are talking about, we have sold hundreds of these lights, and haven't had any complaints, from career FF, EMT's and volunteers not a one. Your rubber edging will not be a problem, will slip over that with ease, follow the directions.
"how do you rotate the clamp??"
Kait, ""you can pivot the light on the mount to aim it"" the light will rotate on the bracket.
"hi, I wanted to know if this torch can be put on an MSA gallet F1 and I have to buy that kind of attack. Also I ask how do I send it in Italy."
Piero, I do not know what kind of helmet this is, can you send me a picture? email@example.com
"Is there a rechargeable battery that can be used with this light?"
There are some rechargeable batteries this size, but Streamlight does not recommend using them. It is best powered by CR123As.
"If this takes (2) CR123 batteries, can you run (1) rechargeable 18650 battery instead?"
Seamlight does not recommend it. The housing for the batteries may need an adapter or a sleeve to fit the 18650 as well. Lithium Battery Safety Warning Information: Streamlight recommends the use of Streamlight, Panasonic, Sanyo, Energizer CR123A or Duracell 123 with it's non-rechargeable lithium battery products. Use of other batteries or mixing of used and new or different brand batteries may present a risk of leakage, fire, explosion and serious personal injury. Do not recharge, misuse, short circuit, improperly store or discard, disassemble or heat above 212 F (100 C). Keep away from children.
