AWESOME BOOTS

by

These boots are Great, I purchased all of our Firefighters a pair because they can be worn as station boots and you don't have to change if we get a grass or brush fire plus they are EMS rated also. Very Comfortable right out of the box. So far they are holding up well, they are actually pretty easy to clean after a wildland call, and protect your feet very well. These are one of the Best ob the market if your looking for an all purpose Duty/Wildland/EMS Boot.

Awesome boot

by

Great boots, I have a few pairs of Haix now and I love them all!

good boots

by

My favorite part of these boots are how easy they are to get on and off. You can pretty much jump right in them and zip them up, and they give good ankle support. A little stiff at first but should be good after you break them in a bit. Comfortable enough to wear all day. The upper tongue area behind the zipper is a little stiff and could be irritating against your shin if your socks weren't long enough , so make sure you wear them with some thick, long socks. But other than that small con, i like them.

Best station duty boot made.

Switched to Haix last year. Bought boots at FDIC and havent looked back. Most comfortable duty boots I have ever wore. Lightweight, Reflects hot sun, very durable. I recommend very highly. Little expensive, but well worth the price difference.

Best dual certified in the market

by

This is by far the most comfortable boot for wildland firefighting I've ever owned. I've tried White's, Hathorn's, Red Wings and these shoes not only are NFPA compliant but are extremely comfortable and durable compare these other boots. The boot feels like tennis shoe. This boots are 2 pounds lighter than Whites.

Very comfortable boot!

by

Overall, this seems to be a really nice boot. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, but they seem rather comfortable and appear to provide very good support. They are pretty light-weight, however they are bulky, so if you're looking for a streamlined, form-fitting boot, this isn't the one for you. It is NFPA rated for wildland firefighting, but I imagine they would be a real hassle to clean afterwards, given all of the little nooks and crannies involved in the zipper feature. I haven't used them on a fire yet, but that's just my assumption. Sizing seems a bit smaller than with other shoes. I have a skinny foot, and wear a 12 in Red Wings. With the Haix, the 11.5 (US) regular was fine.

Worth every penny!

Perfect fit right out of the box. No break in period needed. I put them on and went to work. No blisters or rubs what so ever. I can not speak enough good things about these boots. Several coworkers are also interested in ordering after trying mine on.

Outstanding in their field

by

These boots were not the brand I went to buy but after I tried them I thought they were a better choice. I love the step in and zip up capability. Fit very good and required no break-in. Most days I wear them all day and don't get sore feet.

Best boots I've had

by

I was using the All Americans and they we're so bulky and heavy. My feet and back were sore at the end of the day. Salesperson suggested these so I gave them a try. Perfect fit right out of the box. Great arch support and no back pain.

Loved these boots.

by

I love these boots, I have owned them for a little over two years. I will more than likely never buy any other boots. They are convenient to put on and off, easy to clean and durable. It is nice not having to worry about my socks getting wet during overhaul or the soles of my boots melting from hot ash. I love my boots so much that after about a year and 8 months, the soles started to separate where the boot curls when kneeling. I continued to wear the boots almost every day and never sent them to get redone. I should of done it because now the leather is starting to get torn up and more than likely not able to be fixed. My boots are literally falling apart off my feet because I wear them so much and do not want to buy a different type of boot.

Poor workmanship

by

I bought one pair and I have had to send it back in 8 months under warranty company replaced them with a new pair and returning them again in 6months for the same problem of the sole cracking and separating
