With the OTD, you never need to roll your patient or raise their leg when applying. Unlike other traction devices, only the OTD allows the ability to work around any hip or groin trauma. The OTD comes complete in a convenient 9.5″ x 3.5″ storage pouch with easy-to-follow instructions. It weighs less than 20 ounces. "How is traction applied? You really need to post a PDF of the instruction sheet."
Traction is applied by utilizing the hip strap and the foot strap. When working together they apply the amount of traction needed. Once the traction is applied the other straps help to hold the leg in place.
