Cardinal Health 12fr x 48" Salem Sump Dual Lumen Stomach Tube

Cardinal Health's Salem Sump™ Dual Lumen Stomach Tube enables safer and more effective continuous and intermittent gastric suctioning.

The Salem Sump consists of an X-ray opaque Sentinel Line™ PVC tube with two lumens. The large lumen allows for easy suction of gastric contents, decompression, irrigation, and medication delivery.

Using its integral irrigation funnel, the smaller vent lumen allows for atmospheric air to be drawn into the tube and equalizes the vacuum pressure in the stomach once the contents have been emptied. Doing this prevents the suction eyelets from adhering to and damaging the stomach lining.

The integral funnel connector features a removable 5-in-1 adapter; the funnel end of the vent lumen can be used to cap the 5-in-1 adapter.
