      A:

They are double sided so you can put them on both ways. This way there is no top or bottom.

  • Q:

Would I need a mens' large or extra large for my Dad? He wears a size 10 shoe, but has edema in his feet which makes his left foot very swollen (about 2-3 sizes larger than normal) and the other foot swollen to about 1 size larger than usual. Any help or suggestions you give me will be appreciated.

Buy your Dad the XXXL "bariatric" double-tread socks. My husband is normally a size 10 1/2 and they appear to be too big for him, but they stay up and don't compress his feet harder than compression stockings do. He definitely prefers the XXXL to the regular men's sizes.

      A:

Try the XL this size will fit a foot size from 10-13 which should accommodate your Dad's foot. This is not a compression sock so it will not help with his edema. They are comparable to normal socks the only difference is they are made to try and prevent accidental falls.

There will work although they are not compression socks. These are strictly for covering the feet as a normal sock would.
