Seamless design prevents fluids from entering and eliminates cross-contamination. The design allows better patient centering and requires much less padding. The curvature of the board provides minimal deflection under maximum load. The design features allow two boards to be nested together and stored together in less than 4” of space.
All spineboards are compatible with all head immobilization devices on the market. No rods, rails, runners, or slots interfere with the x-ray field. Stiffening system in handgrips makes the XT the strongest x-ray translucent spineboard available.
Pro Eco comes with a 4 year limited warranty under normal conditions. This includes the promise that the board will not warp! The Pro Eco Spineboard will float up to 250lbs on board!

Comments about Rapid Deployment Products: PRO-ECO Spineboard:
It's more like a rescue basket type spineboard. With the edges curved upward its hard to get a patient on there without possible further injury. I don't think its made to be placed on the ground to have a patient log rolled onto it. If you are in the search and rescue field this is the board for you, its not as costly as other boards. I mainly use it for transporting patients out of areas that the stretcher can't access. Not patients with a suspected spinal injury.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
